Were are all the bloggers hiding!

So last night I didn't fall asleep until 6:30 am...... Yeah really lol I have insomnia and it claimed my night!!! DAM YOU INSOMNIA!!!!!

But this gave me a chance to play on YouTube for about 5 hours, seeing as I always go back to the ag1 channel when I decide to blog, I'm lucky enough to still have the same subscriptions that I had when I was 16 so last night I decide to catch up with some of the video bloggers that I used to love...... But so many of them have disappeared!! It's really upsetting that now in order to be one of the big players on YouTube you have to have a show of some kind, the reason I love blogging is because it's so real, its one person VS their camera, it's their thoughts, their humour, their fun. It's just so natural, it's someone just happily expressing themselves for all to see and having a dam good time doing it. It's barely edited, most of the time it's low quality lol but it's enjoyable and funny and fantastic. It's self expression in such a natural form.

But now everyone has a show, HD is a must, and your not cool without an intro, you just HAVE to have a clothing line and constantly be promoting your goods, don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with any of this, but it's sad to see some of my favourite bloggers have become so mainstream, blogging to me is simply being you you are and having fun, discussing what you want and dancing like no ones watching (seriously if you ever start blogging it's hard to resist making a music video!!!!)

It just seems like so many people have stopped seeing YouTube as a bit of fun and have become obsessed with becoming some kind of media empire :/ I wanna see some nitty gritty old school blogging, bad quality with a shaky cam haha, I wanna see people that havnt spent time getting ready for a video but simply turned on a camera and ran with it.

As I said, if you wanna be a show then go for it, but for some reason people feel like they need to be, there's nothing wrong with just turning on the camera and being you.
